Apply for Medical Exemption
Citizens who are unable to meet standard chargeability or productivity targets due to medical conditions may apply for a temporary or permanent medical exemption through this service.
Exemption categories
- Category A - Temporary Reduction: Reduced productivity target (minimum 60%) for up to 90 days
- Category B - Extended Leave: Authorised absence from work duties for up to 180 days with quarterly review
- Category C - Permanent Adjustment: Permanent reduction in chargeability requirements. Requires annual reassessment and Ministry of Security approval
Application process
- Obtain medical assessment from a state-approved physician
- Request employer endorsement via COMPASS
- Submit application through this portal with all supporting documentation
- Attend assessment panel hearing (within 30 days of submission)
- Receive decision notification via CARL-ID messaging
Important notice
Medical exemption applications are cross-referenced with your loyalty assessment, chargeability history, and COMPASS productivity data. Fraudulent applications are a criminal offence under the Workforce Integrity Act 2024 and will be referred to Ministry of Security.
