New Chargeability Requirements Effective Next Quarter
The Ministry of Labor announces updated chargeability requirements effective from the start of next quarter. All citizens in employment must review and comply with the following changes:
Key changes
- Minimum target increased: The minimum acceptable chargeability rate rises from 85% to 90%
- Real-time monitoring: Chargeability rates will now be assessed in real-time daily (previously weekly). Citizens falling below target mid-day will receive automated alerts
- Break time recording: All breaks exceeding 10 minutes must now be recorded in UtiliTrack with a non-billable WBS code
- Travel time: Commute time between registered home address and primary workplace is no longer eligible for any WBS code allocation
- Meeting chargeability: Meetings with more than 5 attendees must now have a designated chargeability justification approved by a senior manager
Transition period
A 30-day grace period will apply from the start of the quarter. During this period, the previous 85% minimum will remain in effect while citizens and managers adjust to the new requirements.
