Ministry of Health Announces Mandatory Wellness Screening Programme

The Ministry of Health has announced a new Mandatory Wellness Screening Programme, effective from the start of next quarter. All citizens aged 18-65 who are registered for employment must complete an annual health and wellness screening.

Screening components

  • Physical fitness assessment (cardiovascular, strength, flexibility)
  • Mental wellness evaluation questionnaire
  • Substance testing (drug and alcohol screening)
  • Nutritional assessment and BMI measurement
  • Vision and hearing tests
  • Stress resilience assessment

Purpose

"A healthy citizen is a productive citizen," said Minister Natasha Volkov. "By identifying health issues early, we can ensure that citizens receive the treatment they need to maintain peak chargeability. Prevention is more cost-effective than lost productivity."

Integration with other systems

Screening results will be integrated with:

  • CarlCare: Automatic referrals for identified health concerns
  • COMPASS: Fitness-for-work assessment updates
  • CDI Score: Health compliance component (up to 3% bonus for excellent results)
  • UtiliTrack: Adjusted chargeability targets for citizens with identified limitations

Screening appointments will be allocated through the Citizen Services Portal. Citizens must attend within their assigned screening month. Failure to attend will result in CDI score deduction and potential suspension of non-essential services.

Citizens with concerns about the screening process may submit questions through the Help & Support section, though the screening itself is non-optional.

New Digital Citizenship Regulations Take Effect

The Ministry of Technology has announced that the updated Digital Citizenship Regulations come into effect from the first of next month. All citizens must ensure compliance by the deadline to avoid penalties.

Key changes

  • Mandatory Device Registration: All internet-capable devices must be registered within 48 hours of acquisition (reduced from 7 days)
  • State Security Certificate: Updated certificates must be installed on all devices. The new certificates enable enhanced content inspection and monitoring through the Citizen Proxy
  • Approved Software List: Only software from the State Approved Software Registry may be installed on registered devices. Unapproved software will be remotely flagged and must be removed within 24 hours
  • Communication Monitoring: All digital communications are subject to real-time analysis by SurveilSync. End-to-end encrypted messaging apps not on the approved list are now classified as circumvention tools
  • Biometric Authentication: CARL-ID biometric login is now required for all government portal access. Password-only authentication will be disabled

Compliance timeline

  1. Week 1-2: Download and install updated security certificates
  2. Week 3-4: Complete device re-registration if certificates have changed
  3. Week 4: Remove all unapproved software
  4. By deadline: Verify compliance through the Digital Compliance Check page

Citizens who require assistance with compliance can visit their nearest Ministry of Technology service point or access the help resources on this portal.

Non-compliance after the deadline will result in automatic network access suspension and a CDI score deduction of 25 points per week until resolved.
